14:9. ആ തെക്കോവക്കാരത്തി രാജാവിനാടു: എന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവേ, കുറ്റം എന്റെ മേലും എന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്മേലും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; രാജാവിന്നും സിംഹാസനത്തിന്നും കുറ്റമില്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14:9. The Tekoan woman said to the king, "My lord the king, let any blame fall on me and on the house of my father. But let the king and his throne be innocent!"
